It’s simply for people who appreciate taking things a little slower.
People who know good bread can't be rushed. Good coffee either.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Ozone to create our House Blend — the same full-bodied brew we serve in our cafés, now available online so you can enjoy it at home alongside your favourite Volare breads, pastries and pantry staples.
Like our sourdough, it’s made the slow way. Carefully sourced, thoughtfully roasted, and packed to order.
Our House Blend Coffee
It’s the House Blend roasted specifically for us by Ozone Coffee. Expect notes of milk chocolate, toasted hazelnut and caramel, with a subtle cherry sweetness that rounds it out cleanly. It’s the coffee we stand behind every day — reliable, balanced, and made to pair with good bread.
Why Ozone
Ozone and Volare share the same approach: do things properly, build real relationships, and focus on quality that lasts. They’ve been our coffee partner since early on, and every barista on our team has spent time at their roastery learning the craft. That kind of connection matters when you’re putting something on the table, or in someone’s cup—every single day.
The beans are sourced with care, roasted with precision, and delivered fresh. It’s the same coffee we use across our stores in Hamilton, Cambridge, and Te Awamutu. Nothing complicated. Just a solid cup that works whether you’re making it at home in the morning or pairing it with a slice of sourdough in the afternoon.
How to order
The House Blend is available both in our stores and online, in a range of sizes to suit your needs. You can buy it as whole beans or have it freshly ground to your preference (espresso, filter, plunger, or French press). It’s packed to order and shipped across New Zealand.
