The Volare guide to where to eat, grab a loaf, and refuel during the WSL.
We recently headed out for a quick Raglan mission (you might've seen our Reel) to visit few of the good people we work with over there. These are all places we genuinely rate. Places doing things well.
If you’re heading over for the comp, here’s your unofficial Volare guide to Raglan.
First things first: bread run
If you’re staying in town, these are your best bets for grabbing Volare for the house, bach, campground, or post-surf toast situation.
Four Square Raglan
A proper local Four Square. Easy stop for the essentials before heading out to the points. You’ll find a solid range of Volare loaves here, making breakfast or sandwich prep significantly easier.
The Herbal Dispensary
One of our original stockists and one of Raglan’s real gems. Part café, part wellness hub, part local institution. Grab bread, pastries, pies, sausage rolls, pantry bits, or book in with their naturopath team while you’re there.

Cafés worth your time
Raglan’s packed with good coffee and good food, but these are a few spots we keep coming back to.
The Shack
A Raglan classic. Good cabinet food, great coffee, relaxed atmosphere. The kind of place you end up sitting longer than planned. Popular with locals and visitors alike.

Wyld
Fresh, colourful, health-focused food without feeling overly serious about it. Ideal if you’re after something lighter between surf checks.
Indi's Cafe
Laid-back, reliable and consistently good. Serving local organic coffee and freshly baked pastries.
Raglan Roast Food Department
On the west side, just over the one-way bridge near the shuttle pickup area for the event. Handy if you’re parking up and heading to the comp buses.
Coffee, food, and a good place to regroup before heading into the crowds at the comp.
Dinner, sunsets, and slowing down
Conscious Kitchen at Solscape
Worth the slight detour. Slower pace, beautiful setting, thoughtful food. One of those places that reminds you why people fall in love with Raglan in the first place.
Sidekick
Good people, good food, good energy. Sidekick has become a favourite for locals and visitors alike, for fresh (and full) sandwiches on Volare bread and burger nights that pop off!
Raglan Fish
If you need a break from the crowds, head down to the wharf. Fish and chips by the water is hard to beat after a long day at the comp.
